BMW Unveils New 3 Series Touring
Van expands capacity of the trunk and get new engines.
Thrown in Brazil, model arrives in Europe in the 2nd half.
While SUVs and crossovers become increasingly evident as family cars, BMWcontinues to invest in station wagons. The German brand revealed, along with the launch of a Series two-door, the new generation 3 Series Touring.
Visually, the new model follows the profile of turkeys of the mark, with sharp fall and roof lanterns are identical to the sedan. With regard to the measures, a new van was 9.7 cm longer and longer without 5 cm wheelbase, contributed to an increase of 35 litres in capacity trunk, scales from Agora 495 litres – against 490 litres of the Audi A4 Avant and 485 litres of Mercedes-Benz C-class Estate.
Will be three versions: 320 d, 330d and 328i, equipped with 2.0 engine (184 HP) inline six-cylinder 3.0 (257 HP) and 2.0 (245 HP) – all with help of turbocharger. The Exchange can be either manual or automatic six, eight marches.
Their sales in Europe beginning next semester – the model is dropped into the Brazilian market.
