The battle in the courts that prohibited Microsoft from selling Windows 7 and Xbox 360 in Germany may have extended consequences for the United States. A judge of the International Commission on Commerce in the country recommended that the company's console is banned from the local market due to infringement of four patents from Motorola wireless technology related equipment used by controls.
The recommendation does not mean that the video game actually going to have their sales prohibited, since a decision the Commission is international trade. The company of Steve Ballmer remains confident in this respect, stating in a press release that is confident that the Commission will testify in his favour.
A final decision should be disclosed until 23 August this year. If Microsoft is found guilty, the u.s. Government will have 60 days to decide whether sales and imports of Xbox 360 units will actually be banned in the country
